        Welcome to the Hugh McQueen Music Project Blog.This is my first posting. I'll be using this page to share information and whatever other musings strike me as worthy of sharing .
     That said, I have never concerned myself all that much with being politically correct, as Elise will attest to, so I will apologize in advance now for any future postings that might cross the line. My intent here is not to offend anyone, but to have a little fun and keep the lines of communication open with fans of the Hugh McQueen Music Project.
       Feel free to post any comments you may want to share, and try to keep it relatively clean. My wife and daughters might be reading this.
       Gigs are coming so keep and eye on the calendar of events. I have been spending a lot of hours working on new material and scraping the rust off some classics. 
         I will be doing another open mic at the Hearing Room in Lowell Massachusetts this evening from 7 until 10. Tonight's host is Lori Zuroff, an amazing songstress with some great jazz and blues stylings. It promises to be a great evening featuring several talented artists from the area so stop  by the Hearing Room on Chelmsford St. if you are in the area.
