V.O.T.E.

Good morning my Fellow Americans,

Today is the day.
Whatever side of the political fence you are on,
No matter if you, like me, feel the system in general has become broken and corrupted,
No matter how cynical, like me, you have become,
We all need to get out there today and cast our ballots.
Your VOTE counts, maybe not as much for the office of POTUS as it does for other candidates running for local and state positions.
We have the ability to affect the future direction taken by our cities, towns, and individual states.
Negative campaign advertising filled with half truths added to media bias have made it increasingly difficult for the average citizen to know who or what we can truly believe.
 So believe this;
             No one is perfect,
             Everyone makes mistakes
             People change their opinions and minds all the time
             Even Politicians are human (at least some of them anyway)
             Your individual ballot carries the exact same weight as mine
               
               All we can do is try to make the most informed decisions we  can.
              Educate yourself and exercise your right as a citizen to select leaders that will hopefully  represent us  with integrity, candor, intelligence and compassion.
           Do your part to overcome the Ignorance and Apathy that has afflicted this nation for far too long.
