Good morning people,

Normally Sunday is a good day to sleep in, be a little lazy, read the paper and kick back a bit, but today started out a little early for me as Elise and I went downtown to cheer on Kerien Driscoll as she completed her 1st Half Marathon. Kerien is our IT Specialist for the Hugh McQueen Music Project. Navigating Lowell was even trickier than normal with several streets closed for the Bay State Marathon but we managed to snag an excellent vantage point on Middlesex St. in front of Hadley Park to cheer on the runners . Kerien broke the two hour mark by a good margin so "Congratulations Kerien" on your excellent run. Thirteen plus miles in under two hours. I get exhausted just thinking about it.
Making our way down to the finish line was a little tricky since the City bagged all the parking meters on every side street and turned the entire downtown area into a tow zone, but we managed to secure a spot in the parking garage near the High School.

Today will be spent mostly in rehearsal, with a break to watch  Tom Brady's return to Foxboro, as we prepare for  a HUGE SHOW scheduled for  FRIDAY NOVEMBER 4th. at the Hearing Room on Chelmsford St,  in Lowell. Doors open at 7:00 and the show runs from 7:30 until about 10:00.

Think of it this way, We're throwing a party on Friday November 4th an YOU ARE INVITED!!!!!!
We will be performing  two extended sets of  original music and  select covers of my personal favorites. Seating capacity for the Hearing Room is limited to under 100 people so this is an intimate venue and promises to be a special night, I believe tickets are just $5. and will be available at the door, but you can reserve seating by messaging me on the contact page here on the HughMcQueenMusicProject website.
The Hearing Room is a unique venue. Opened in June this year by Caelin Graber, it serves as a great outlet for artists and musicians in the greater Lowell Area, and it needs your support in order to continue it's mission of supporting the arts in the Greater Lowell Community.
The Hearing room is not a bar, but you can bring in your own refreshments of choice and food. It's a great space to hang with friends, have a relatively inexpensive  night, and enjoy a couple of hours of some great music. So message me if you want reserve seating and I hope to see you all on the 4th.
                                                                                                                           Go Pats
                                                                                                                           Hugh
