Post debate Tuesday

    Hope everyone has recovered from watching the debate last night. I almost wish I just watched the Sox game instead. It was almost like watching a skit on Saturday Night Live, except it really was more sad than funny.
     Anyway, I will be down at the Hearing Room this evening for another open mic with Rick Cande. 
It should be a great night and Rick kicks things off at 7:00. Hopefully Rick will bring his harmonicas and maybe we can do a couple of Neil Young tune together. 
     I had some requests to post the lyrics of "Imperfect People" on the You Tube Video so for the time being I have written them out here. I also have another new one in the works that I may preview this evening. Just trying to workout the guitar work on the chorus.

                 he wants to build a wall, 
                 throws crying babies from the hall
                 and while he's at it ban all Muslims at the gate
                 Then there's Madame secretary wants to make Bill her first lady
                 for things she's done already well we could incarcerate
                 but the FBI report says it's okay she didn't mean it 
                 so those campaign contributions keep on filling up her plate

                  trying to survive another day
                 We can't trust the media
                  the network news or wikipedia
                  surely Walter Cronkite's rolling over in his grave

                  Now liar liar with her pants suit on fire says she has no answers
                  but together we can come up with a plan
                  but with the DNC and company she sure had plans for Bernie
                  now she's asking for your vote simply because she's not a man
                  and that real estate mogul, that started off with zero
                  except his ego and a million bucks from dad
                  his political incorrectness has endeared him like some hero
                  to the masses that believe his hateful bluster....its so sad

                  yeah we're just a world full of imperfect people
                   trying to survive another day
                  there's no one left to trust
                  deficit spendings got us going bust
                  and the only thing that's left is just to pray...

                  surely we'll be killed by isis
                  unless the GOP or the DNC 
                  beat them to it along the way.
